A great guy in CT you should check out is Kevin Gianni. He has a youtube page here. I believe SuperfoodGirl is also in CT, but I’m not sure. She’s part of the Renegade Health team and is such a sweetie!

  3. Please do buzz me when you’re in town. I’ve never been to BC but I heard it is absolutely gorgeous. It would be a dream to visit one day. I’m happy you’re my friend! : ) I am your friend. for sure! ~Lara

Thanks; definitely let me know how it goes. And absolutely!

  6. Hi there, Thanks for the video! What do you think about raw dairy?

  7. CrazyHealerLady on January 29th, 2009 at 2:33 pm

    Hi there!
I’m a pretty strong believer that consuming any animal protein is detrimental to the human body which is not built to consume it. A wonderful resource for more information is The China Study. So short answer: I feel all milk, even raw milk, is harmful, and actually leeches calcium from the body due to creating an acidic state in the blood.

    Great question!

  8. can you use cold-pressed olive oil?

  9. CrazyHealerLady on February 7th, 2009 at 9:56 pm

You can but apparently sunflower or sesame oil are the best. Check out w w w . oilpulling . co m (have to space to put links in)

  10. Teeth become loose when you have periodontal disease. You CANNOT reverse periiodontal disease.

  11. Sweet! Loved your videos! :) I’m planning on going to get some tooth soap and oil (I read from this doctor who did some heavy research on oil pulling, Dr. Bruce Fife) that you can also use coconut oil. What are your thoughts? Since I’ve only got olive oil on hand, I’ll have to see if I can get my hands on the types you mentioned. I’ll check in when I start this wicked new dental hygiene. So you tend to cater to newbies of raw? I’m one such newbie… doing the 100 day challenge at rawfu.

  12. Good for you! Congrats. I don’t know about coconut oil. Worth a shot! Apparently sunflower or sesame are the best, though. Keep me posted :)

My passion is helping newbies to raw. I’ve neglected my sites for the projects I’ve been doing but definitely stop by my forum (intherawcommunity . ning . com) for some recipes and tips :)

  13. Just sharing what I’ve discovered from others, love :)

  14. oh..it’s quite alright….I do believe it can help with staining..and recalcifying the teeth. I am not sure I would try this..but I give props to people who do!

Google a superior Natural dental product called

    ORAMD

  16. Very good videos. I’ll have to try tooth soap and oiling, thanks!

  17. ORAMD is alot better than the toothsoap

Also you can use 3% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide for Brushing with a soft brush and as a Mouthwash , Many Raw Foodists use it and claim excellent results

  18. I’m sorry, I believe the products should be speaking for themselves. You go around promoting oraMD everywhere, and therefore I don’t feel like trying it at all.

  19. the products ARE speaking for themselves, if it wasnt any good i wouldnt be talking about it and Jess wouldnt be talking about Toothsoap !

im Not ‘ promoting ‘ anything, and Neither is she, we both are simply sharing relevant information, Nothing more or less

    SHARE SHARE SHARE

thats whats its all about, If you find something that gives you great results, Make sure you tell me about it, Because i want to know !

    The more info, the Better

thank you so much for posting these videos and educating people. i definitely agree with you on NOT drinking cows milk. It’s so higly mucus forming as well, the protein in it called casein is used in making glue. GROSS.

  22. thank you very much for these video’s. it’s the most free information on alternative care for teeth i’ve come across yet. keep up the good work. :)

  23. To clarify on the milk thing…whole, RAW cow’s milk is very good for you. It’s the pasteurization part that ruins milk and makes it “bad” for you.

  24. CrazyHealerLady on July 14th, 2009 at 7:05 am

Each is entitled to their own position, but I think cow’s milk is for baby cows. There is much evidence out there that animal-based protein is carcinogenic. A wonderful book to read is “The China Study.” Cow’s milk, raw or pasterized, is very mucous forming. There is a reason people become intolerant of it if they haven’t had it for a while. I have heard that goat’s milk is much milder and easier for digestion, but I still stick by the Vegan standpoint :p

  25. Based upon experience, I would have to agree with you! After not eating dairy for about a year, I decided to try raw cow (and goat) cheese per the recommendation of a friend. Bad idea! It did not agree with me AT ALL. I have read no convincing argument to date that dairy products – raw or pasturized – are necessary or beneficial to the body. And thanks for the great dental info! :)
